The day after my birthday, B and I got in a full day of work and then started driving to California. We drove all night and got there just before 4 in the morning, but it was worth it. The weekend was so relaxing- we'd go to the beach in morning and lay out while the boys surfed, play around for a while, go home and shower up, then go out, get food or just walk around. I'd say we found the best way possible to celebrate my birthday, Valentine's Day,
and Presidents Day all in one. We were so lucky to have great hosts and amazing weather. I left feeling like a completely different girl than the one that left Utah. The trip reminded me that I will always be a west coast girl, and it also reminded me how much I want to end up in Southern California. I'm sure there will be a few moves between, but that's where I will settle my bones...;)
