Tahni transformed her basement into a smoke-filled 1920s speakeasy and hosted a murder mystery dinner Friday night. Tahni pulls out all the stops when she throws a party, and The Juice Joint was no exception. We all had so much fun--everyone got really into their characters and the costumes were great. We had to have a password to get in and got frisked at the door in case we were packing heat. I was complimented on my gams, bribery and extortion were the norm, and mob bosses from the north and south fought for control all night. I decided that I definitely wouldn't have minded living during that time. Since I can't, it sure was fun to pretend for one night....
